Dr. Ruizhi Dai
Ruizhi is interested in studying how cognitive functions change in both the healthy ageing population and people with neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia. With a background in cognitive psychology, Ruizhi’s research primarily focuses on age-related declines in a variety of cognitive processes including spatial cognition, working memory, and metamemory. During her time as a postdoctoral researcher in the team, she worked on a series of projects related to remote cognitive assessments and non-pharmacological interventions for people living with dementia, using spatial processing training or information and communications technologies (ICT) such as video-conferencing tools.
Ruizhi is now a lecturer in the Psychology department in the Faculty of Education, Guangzhou University, China.
